Microneedling
Microneedling cannot be performed on areas with active acne, open wounds, or skin infections so please contact us in advance if any of these are present. Avoid using retinoids, exfoliants, or active skincare ingredients (such as AHAs, BHAs, or vitamin C) for at least 3-5 days prior to your appointment. Avoid sun exposure and tanning for at least 48 hours before your session.
Please also avoid blood-thinning substances such as alcohol, caffeine, aspirin, and non-steroidal anti-inflammatories (NSAIDs) for 24 hours before and after treatment, as they may increase bruising and slow the healing process. If you've recently finished a course of antibiotics, it’s best to wait 2 weeks before microneedling to ensure your skin and immune response are normalized. Make sure to book your appointment at least two weeks prior to an upcoming event to give time for healing and collagen production.
A full consultation will be conducted prior to your session to ensure you are a suitable candidate.
